Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Epifanio Clementi started the match with the kick off. Gert-Jan Van de Velde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Clementi went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Armand Zimmer hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Cheb El Ouafi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salmiyah Power's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheb El Ouafi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jussef Ben Mami stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kobe Vanneste's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Armand Zimmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jussef Ben Mami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Armand Zimmer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the De Keikoppers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armand Zimmer couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Vanneste came free, but Jussef Ben Mami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Kobe Vanneste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jussef Ben Mami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Epifanio Clementi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gert-Jan Van de Velde was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gert-Jan Van de Velde was a little too slow when Cheb El Ouafi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jussef Ben Mami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kobe Vanneste, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Salmiyah Power's Cheb El Ouafi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gert-Jan Van de Velde. That made the score 4-0 after 37 minutes of play. When De Keikoppers's Kobe Vanneste in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salmiyah Power's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kobe Vanneste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noureddine Adjani kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Cheb El Ouafi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Keikoppers's Gert-Jan Van de Velde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb El Ouafi in the 65th minute of play. When Epifanio Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salmiyah Power's protests and gave Epifanio Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. Salmiyah Power's Tedj Said was substituted for Leonard Bărnuțiu. Salmiyah Power's Ismaïl Hadjadj was substituted for Cheb El Ouafi. In the 70th minute, Epifanio Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismaïl Hadjadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismaïl Hadjadj in the 77th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Gert-Jan Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
