Fan PC Servicii's Dinu Medrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christijan van Asseldonk in the 31st minute of play. When Christijan van Asseldonk came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Albertus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christijan van Asseldonk couldn't finish the play. Dinu Medrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed 冯义兴, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fan PC Servicii's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pieter Theissen was slow to take the kick. During this time Albertus FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Pieter Theissen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dinu Medrea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mugur Udrea hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Albertus FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Christijan van Asseldonk hit a great ball. Damiano Cherubini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leendert Borg came out and tried to block the shot, but Damiano Cherubini slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christijan van Asseldonk was the one to do the kick off.
