Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito de Sousa to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kobe Vanneste in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulão Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Fabrício De León got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes in the game Frans Gijselinghs did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Perry Stroobans. In the 94th minute Benedito de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that De Keikoppers were the better team. De Keikoppers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
