Riemer Mulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gert-Jan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riemer Mulders in the 18th minute of the match. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armand Zimmer ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Leendert Borg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Riemer Mulders to make the kick off. Cristo Guzman charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Guzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 52 minutes into the game, Armand Zimmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leendert Borg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, De Keikoppers's goal looked a bit too open when Klaas Jan Klaassen came free, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Ed 冯义兴. Gijsbert Bults's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Riemer Mulders sent off a good shot on target. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Riemer Mulders's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert-Jan Van de Velde was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riemer Mulders in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gert-Jan Van de Velde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Gert-Jan Van de Velde managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Albertus FC's Riemer Mulders fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. De Keikoppers's Gert-Jan Van de Velde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save De Keikoppers from getting a goal against them. Gert-Jan Van de Velde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Riemer Mulders in the 93rd minute. The supporters of De Keikoppers booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Jan Klaassen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert-Jan Van de Velde was a little too slow when Ferdi Merenga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
