The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Manso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alcino França came free, but Åke Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blomstermåla BK's Åke Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcino França in the 26th minute of play. Åke Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Marega in the 29th minute of play. Sabadim Harammes PRD's Leonel Brochado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dennis Eskilsson, made in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Hipólito Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alípio Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabadim Harammes PRD's protests and gave Alípio Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. During the 46th minute of the match Håkan Håning completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Håkan Håning a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Blomstermåla BK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Håkan Håning hit a great ball.

The referee ignored Blomstermåla BK's protests and gave Jörgen Bergfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Blomstermåla BK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jörgen Bergfeldt hit a great ball. With his leg Åke Johnsson managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Sabadim Harammes PRD's Alcino França fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, Alcino França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Johnsson. Blomstermåla BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcino França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alcino França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Åke Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Botvidsson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcino França got free with Åke Johnsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adélio Gameiro charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adélio Gameiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adélio Gameiro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Sabadim Harammes PRD's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Brochado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
