The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeusz Pozorski got free with Francisco do Vale in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mestre GG's Francisco do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Mestre GG from getting a goal against them. Stasio Prusinowski's late challenge caught a Mestre GG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stasio Prusinowski helped the player get up and apologised. Lech Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Medeiros in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Benjamim Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Betinho Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Pliszka got free with Francisco do Vale in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Betinho Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, one of Russówek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute, Russówek's Stasio Prusinowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stasio Prusinowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Russówek protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stasio Prusinowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Russówek! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
In the 52nd minute Chiquinho Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Sergipano in the 53rd minute of play. Horácio Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Kajetan Zagrodny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco do Vale skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Solibieda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Betinho Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mestre GG's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Nakoneczny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernard Trochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Pozorski in the 62nd minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Francisco do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Chiquinho Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerzy Pliszka in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lech Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Betinho Mangueira took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lech Nakoneczny. Lech Nakoneczny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 88th minute, Mestre GG's Chiquinho Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Betinho Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Lech Nakoneczny made a huge save. The Mestre GG players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
