Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Remco de Nooter got the match started through his kick off. Marco Jamieson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Boieru in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Elias Torfs hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Dan Stelaru notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SK Gullegem's Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Vătavu took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. SK Gullegem's Marco Jamieson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Stelaru in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Stelaru in the 27th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Chibulcutean's late challenge caught a SK Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Chibulcutean helped the player get up and apologised. Robert Vătavu took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jamieson. Marco Jamieson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 36th minute Dan Stelaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jamieson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Jacky Jamieson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV the free kick. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacky Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Jamieson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cozorici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Stelaru in the 44th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Stelaru to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Elias Torfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Voican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Robert Vătavu put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Jamieson. 58 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Boieru came free, but Marco Jamieson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlad Voican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remco de Nooter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Gullegem were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remco de Nooter took the corner. The corner led SK Gullegem's Remco de Nooter to fire away a dangerous shot which Vlad Voican despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute, SK Gullegem's Cederique Jamieson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cederique Jamieson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Gullegem protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cederique Jamieson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV. Cosmin Mușetescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Jamieson. 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Robert Vătavu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Jamieson. That made the score 1-6 after 72 minutes of play. When Jacky Jamieson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SK Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacky Jamieson couldn't finish the play. Răzvan Boieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marco Jamieson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Jamieson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Vătavu in the 86th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SK Gullegem.
