Júnior Galego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráusio Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Mineiro in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cordeara Igay came free, but Dráusio Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Winnicki came free, but Giga Hertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pégasus F. C.'s Wit Winnicki in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limoeiro-PE FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Wit Winnicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júnior Galego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Júnior Galego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Pitta was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Cordeara Igay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquinho Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chiquinho Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Pégasus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Urbano to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Passos. In the 28th minute, Júnior Galego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dráusio Pitta came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Limoeiro-PE FC's Cordeara Igay. But to his dismay, Cordeara Igay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dráusio Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordeara Igay, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Limoeiro-PE FC were awarded a corner. Júnior Galego went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Irwin Pustak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pégasus F. C.'s Dráusio Pitta did a great save. Célio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vivaldo Freire kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giga Hertz. That made the score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. Marcel Passos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wit Winnicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Júnior Galego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráusio Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Eliézer Dante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Giga Hertz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Pégasus F. C.'s Ricardo da Fonseca got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cordeara Igay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dráusio Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pégasus F. C.'s Wit Winnicki got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Limoeiro-PE FC's Giga Hertz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Winnicki in the 74th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Eliézer Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giga Hertz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Ronaldo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes, Marcel Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the Pégasus F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Marcel Passos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ronaldo came free, but Giga Hertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pégasus F. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Limoeiro-PE FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
