An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Brytka in the 4th minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Gabin Françoise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Alesandro Nesta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ICEWIND DALE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandrie CF the free kick. The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when FC ICEWIND DALE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alesandro Nesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, FC ICEWIND DALE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alesandro Nesta to maneuver through the defense. Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mutu in the 13th minute of play. Wladyslaw Brytka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gabin Françoise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Chrobak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Cardoso. Gabin Françoise came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ICEWIND DALE's Platão Romário. But to his dismay, Platão Romário quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gabin Françoise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Brytka in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes FC ICEWIND DALE got a freekick which was hit by Platão Romário. Bartlomiej Chrobak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ívan James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacek Czerniak kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Bartlomiej Chrobak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Cardoso in the 35th minute. A collision led to FC ICEWIND DALE getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sylwester Przybyciel hit a great ball. Maxence Mangel, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gabin Françoise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Brytka in the 44th minute of play. Gabin Françoise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wladyslaw Brytka to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, FC ICEWIND DALE's Gabin Françoise threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Mutu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabin Françoise made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wladyslaw Brytka in the 54th minute. Gabin Françoise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Mutu in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Maxence Mangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Kasprzak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Platão Romário in the 66th minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Gabin Françoise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Alexandrie CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ívan James to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Robert Kasprzak from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Gabin Françoise's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Wladyslaw Brytka managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters rose to their feet, but Wladyslaw Brytka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabin Françoise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Platão Romário kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Wladyslaw Brytka notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Alexandrie CF's Gabin Françoise. Gabin Françoise was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Siniša Mihajlović hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ívan James's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartlomiej Chrobak was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Platão Romário ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabin Françoise was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.
