The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Ronaldo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristoforo Giacomini. Cristoforo Giacomini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute Cristian Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Giacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Ronaldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Cristoforo Giacomini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliézer Dante during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Pégasus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Dante to maneuver through the defense. Eliézer Dante struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cristoforo Giacomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Cristoforo Giacomini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Pégasus F. C. booed when AC Collins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Martano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Wit Winnicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Winnicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, AC Collins's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Dante came free, but Cristoforo Giacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Collins's Cristoforo Giacomini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Winnicki in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ricardo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pégasus F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Giacomini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliézer Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Giacomini having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AC Collins's Ferdinando Tamburrini got a free kick in the 45th minute. Vitinho das Neves, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Dante got free with Cristoforo Giacomini in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wit Winnicki made a kick off. Cristoforo Giacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Wit Winnicki made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Giacomini. AC Collins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of AC Collins booed when Pégasus F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Collins made a substitution. Cesare Trentini replaced Carlo Martano. AC Collins made a substitution. Dave Marrone replaced Domenico Graziani. After 57 played minutes Pégasus F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Urbano. Dráusio Pitta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cosimo Scevola. 59 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Dráusio Pitta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Del Papa. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pégasus F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 65 minutes into the match, Eliézer Dante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Giacomini. AC Collins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Cristoforo Giacomini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Winnicki's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ronaldo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Giacomini saved AC Collins from getting behind. If Fabiano Del Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberigo Rosa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cristian Ronaldo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cristoforo Giacomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pégasus F. C.. Cristoforo Giacomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Dante in the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pégasus F. C. fully deserved thier win.
