An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Murillo in the 6th minute of play forced Airetupal EXC's goalkeeper Miguel Calero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Calero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Shao Jing Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matro Beyzania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Matro Beyzania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shao Jing Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Calero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Airetupal EXC's Miguel Calero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Murillo in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Venancio Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Bertol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Calero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Calero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Rik in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Murillo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Airetupal EXC's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Murillo came free, but Miguel Calero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toro Murillo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matro Beyzania in the 61st minute of play forced Santa Fe's goalkeeper Shao Jing Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Venancio Bertol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Calero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toro Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Miguel Calero made a huge save. In the 80th minute of the match, Toro Murillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Calero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner led Santa Fe's Sandro Coisne to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Calero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toro Murillo got free with Miguel Calero in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Emesto Villarreal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Airetupal EXC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Fe the free kick. After 87 played minutes Airetupal EXC got a freekick which was hit by Emesto Villarreal. Miguel Calero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Rik in the 88th minute of play. If Emesto Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
