After taking down the ball on PIRATAS TFP's corner Régis Urbano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vasiliy Kalmetev quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Silveira in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasiliy Kalmetev saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. With his leg Elano Toledo managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Arsenal FC's Damaso Orlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Natanael Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Elano Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's Alexandre da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasiliy Kalmetev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damaso Orlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Elano Toledo made a huge save. Dragan Hristozov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Elano Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Rocha was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Elano Toledo came out of the goal and Damaso Orlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Dragan Hristozov got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Régis Urbano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasiliy Kalmetev skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damaso Orlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Damaso Orlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elano Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arsenal FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after PIRATAS TFP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matthias Löfgren took the corner. The corner led Arsenal FC's Matthias Löfgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Elano Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Salgado to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Arsenal FC defense, Cafu Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasiliy Kalmetev. The Arsenal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasiliy Kalmetev should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Didi Salgado got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Orlin in the 69th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Elano Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes PIRATAS TFP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Löfgren who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Brian Smet got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragan Hristozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Régis Urbano in the 76th minute really tested Vasiliy Kalmetev's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Damaso Orlin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Orlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vasiliy Kalmetev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre da Cunha in the 80th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Damaso Orlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Damaso Orlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Damaso Orlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elano Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Cafu Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
