Thanks to some nice moves Francisco da Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Jairo Calçada however easily saved by the left post. Minho FC's Álvaro Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
