Damon Ahrens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egert Ilmatark having to make a save. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tyler Gern who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Muuga United's Egert Ilmatark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Samuel Onkel fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Muuga United's protests and gave Samuel Onkel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Muuga United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Samuel Onkel hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Rupert Glemser notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Muuga United's Egert Ilmatark. Egert Ilmatark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Muuga United were furious when Endel Alev was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of FC Muuga United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz:s goal. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Lemmy Stecher successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuldar Vall in the 39th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Lemmy Stecher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes FC Muuga United got a freekick which was hit by Reino Lauter. 43 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Lysander Schütt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Egert Ilmatark came out of the goal and Lysander Schütt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rupert Glemser was the one to do the kick off.
