After 9 played minutes 9 Lurah got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Fingkreuw. Gianluca Vialli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mukti Restiana having to make a save. After 41 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Librado. The long shot by Paulus Rusandi in the 42nd minute really tested Aureliano Herena's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 45th minute, Gianluca Vialli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mukti Restiana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

In the 52nd minute of the game Diding Suseno made a throw-in which Poniman Nataprawira played forward. Aureliano Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Fingkreuw in the 53rd minute of the match. Mukti Restiana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gianluca Vialli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Patar Manuputty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Kamuran Zülfikar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mukti Restiana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The 9 Lurah manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Falckner FC to win.
