In the 3rd minute, Jerry Hedman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Batalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rolf Björkdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Dalmau's late challenge caught a Björkö BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Dalmau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute Enrico Alessandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Batalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Mårtensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Diaz went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Bilintx. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Björkdal in the 30th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Augusto Batalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicolás De la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A. Korn's Sahnoyan Şah got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Sahnoyan Şah fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roy Mårtensson, passed just outside the right post. Augusto Batalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Dalmau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Alessandro in the 45th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Augusto Batalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Franco Mastantuono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Gencer Gazzal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the game, one of A. Korn:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Björkö BK a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolf Björkdal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A. Korn's Augusto Batalla. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Demario made a kick off. Roy Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás De la Cruz in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute A. Korn were awarded a corner. Nicolás De la Cruz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led A. Korn's Nicolás De la Cruz to fire away a dangerous shot which Roy Mårtensson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicolás De la Cruz struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Roy Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A. Korn. Ramon Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrico Alessandro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Nordkvist in the 74th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Augusto Batalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Nordkvist in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Batalla saved A. Korn from getting behind. Jerry Hedman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolás De la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Mårtensson having to interfere. In the 85th minute Bengt-Åke Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Batalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás De la Cruz in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Björkö BK got a freekick which was hit by André Strömberg. 95 minutes in the game Bengt-Åke Fridlund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rolf Björkdal. André Strömberg was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of A. Korn booed when Björkö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Strömberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The A. Korn manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Björkö BK to win.
