Octavio Ferrer came out of the goal and Jaime Osoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Orlin charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Orlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Norberto Orlin got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Bizen in the 17th minute of play forced TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Zacarias Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Bibiano. In the 20th minute, Niki Bundev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Jaime Osoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Ferrer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Zacarias Erdiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Koldobika in the 31st minute of the match. Morel Rial took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Ferrer. Octavio Ferrer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Octavio Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morel Rial in the 37th minute of play. Zacarias Erdiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Bundev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Orlin got free with Octavio Ferrer in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The supporters of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niki Bundev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Norberto Orlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Ferrer was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Bizen during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Morel Rial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yala were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carolo Bizen took the corner. Mauro Roano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 72 minutes, Erubiel Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Maura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Clemencin's late challenge caught a Yala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yala's Jeremias Derwin got a free kick in the 91st minute. Erubiel Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
