An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Virila in the 16th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Samuel Demicoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Rameriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Abdilla in the 21st minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Joaquin Phoenix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.C. 10's Teodoro Rameriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Montrelle came free, but Samuel Demicoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, one of Templars FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Templars FC. In the 34th play minute Joaquin Phoenix came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teodoro Rameriz. 2-1. Teodoro Rameriz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Joaquin Phoenix sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, C.A.C. 10's goalkeeper Teodoro Rameriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Phoenix. 41 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Refugio came free, but Samuel Demicoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Joaquin Phoenix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Rameriz. C.A.C. 10's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Phoenix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gabriel Lentini charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Lentini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Lentini. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kurt Abdilla made the kick off in the second half. Angelino Abancens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Demicoli having to interfere. Teodoro Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Abdilla in the 60th minute of the match. Angelino Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Samuel Demicoli made a huge save. Samuel Demicoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Samuel Demicoli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Virila in the 69th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Samuel Demicoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Amancio Virila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Demicoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Teodoro Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Phoenix in the 75th minute of the match. Angelino Abancenss short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Samuel Demicoli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neil Debono during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Neil Debono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amancio Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
