If Paolo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meninos De Cotia the free kick. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Seco made a kick off. Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabio Artaldo got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Fabio Artaldo off the ground. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Niceto Lando put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Germano. Jeremias Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. Meninos De Cotia's Michel Stocks was substituted for Mao Yu. Danilo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Meninos De Cotia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Lando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Niceto Lando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Lando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Atlanta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Meninos De Cotia.
