Jonatan Fredericksen hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tim Johnstone was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remigio Erramu. In the 5th match minute Remigio Erramu ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Tim Johnstone. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Moore came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Mureșan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Tigers's Tim Johnstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Abreu in the 15th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Benji Murray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Benigno Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Johnstone having to interfere. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Mureșan in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Moore came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 37th minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Tim Johnstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Lázaro Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the The Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of The Tigers booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Johnstone came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Benigno Abreu. But to his dismay, Benigno Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The Tigers made a substitution. Phil Clarke replaced Hayden Moore. In the 74thth minute of the game Benigno Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Tigers's Tim Johnstone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sid Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Blewitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Benji Murray recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Germano. Benji Murray showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Atkins in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyrone Meehan got free with Carlos Germano in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
