Aleksander Lukasik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Santos in the 11th minute of the match. Juventudes Libertárias's Wágner Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Juventudes Libertárias from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute LFS Sapphire Club were awarded a corner. Pankracy Piesciuk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led LFS Sapphire Club's Pankracy Piesciuk to fire away a dangerous shot which Wágner Seco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aleksander Lukasik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Juventudes Libertárias's Leonel Faria seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonel Faria the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juventudes Libertárias protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonel Faria had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juventudes Libertárias fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Pankracy Piesciuk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alexsandro Simão struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Aleksander Lukasik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventudes Libertárias. Aleksander Lukasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Meirelles in the 33rd minute of play. Aleksander Lukasik came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventudes Libertárias's Agostinho Almeida. But to his dismay, Agostinho Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Gilson Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksander Lukasik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abílio Carreira to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gilson Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksander Lukasik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pankracy Piesciuk's late challenge caught a Juventudes Libertárias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pankracy Piesciuk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Piesciuk to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Iwan Trela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Rubinho Loureiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LFS Sapphire Club's Aleksander Lukasik didn't even have to move. In the 65th minute Roland Cerocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Aleksander Lukasik made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, Juventudes Libertárias's Agostinho Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksander Lukasik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the LFS Sapphire Club defense, Agostinho Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Lukasik. The LFS Sapphire Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Lukasik should have stopped the shot. After 87 played minutes LFS Sapphire Club got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Erland. In the 87th minute, one of LFS Sapphire Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LFS Sapphire Club. 89 minutes into the match, Rubinho Loureiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Lukasik, 0-6. Wágner Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Cardella in the 92nd minute of the match. Iwo Wozniak charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iwo Wozniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iwo Wozniak kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When Rubinho Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Juventudes Libertárias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Loureiro couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Juventudes Libertárias left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LFS Sapphire Club.
