The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Corrado Primavera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute Liu Xiang Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Marzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Meira in the 11th minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Alex Marzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Di Mascio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Julio Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the JEC - FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Baptista couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Luisinho Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Marzo. Bar Marconi United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisinho Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alex Marzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. JEC - FC's Luisinho Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Baptista in the 28th minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Alex Marzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Emiliano Grandis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Solustiano Partarroyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmine Di Mascio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Solustiano Partarroyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Marzo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by JEC - FC's Douglas Meira. But to his dismay, Douglas Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 44thth minute of the game Douglas Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bar Marconi United's Alex Marzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Marzo having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Grandis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Luisinho Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Marzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JEC - FC's Solustiano Partarroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Grandis in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Bar Marconi United's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Meira came free, but Alex Marzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Marzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Meira in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Fulvio Gerola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. JEC - FC's Luiz Gustavo Gonçalves was substituted for Liu Xiang Zhen. Fulvio Gerola kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, JEC - FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Carmine Di Mascio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bar Marconi United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmine Di Mascio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Meira succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Anfilogino Conti kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Alex Marzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Meira went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Bar Marconi United's zone, Braulio Toli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Marzo came out of the goal and Braulio Toli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over JEC - FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bar Marconi United throughout the match.
