After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Camillo Piccone got a free kick in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Gilmar Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MUSHIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bar Marconi United the free kick. In the 9th minute, Gilmar Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Concetto Uguccioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Tande in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Valadares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Concetto Uguccioni was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, one of Bar Marconi United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bar Marconi United. When Anfilogino Conti fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bar Marconi United's protests and gave Anfilogino Conti a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bar Marconi United getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Anfilogino Conti hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Claudinho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Uguccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concetto Uguccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. MUSHIBA FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Bar Marconi United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan de Almeida took the corner. The corner ended in Juan de Almeida almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bar Marconi United's Concetto Uguccioni did a great save. Claudinho Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto Uguccioni having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmine Di Mascio got free with João Augusto Quintal in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Uguccioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 41st minute, Gilmar Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Piccone. After the first half MUSHIBA FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Berardo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Bar Marconi United's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Valadares came free, but Concetto Uguccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Bar Marconi United's Carmine Di Mascio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Augusto Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Berardo in the 54th minute of play. Camillo Piccone kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Campidelis. If Dennis Berardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Camillo Piccone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Bar Marconi United's Aldo Del Grosso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aldo Del Grosso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bar Marconi United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aldo Del Grosso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 71st minute of play forced Bar Marconi United's goalkeeper Concetto Uguccioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes Bar Marconi United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan de Almeida who took care of the corner kick. The corner led MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida to fire away a dangerous shot which Concetto Uguccioni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maurinho Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Concetto Uguccioni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camillo Piccone kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Claudinho Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Concetto Uguccioni made a huge save. Maurinho Valadares took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Uguccioni. Concetto Uguccioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Maurinho Valadares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto Uguccioni having to make a save. Concetto Uguccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The MUSHIBA FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
