Spectators: 7627 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 79) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dennis Berardo started the match with the kick off. Victorino Gaufred came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Bar Marconi United's Dennis Berardo. But to his dismay, Dennis Berardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Horacio Goren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Carmine Di Mascio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute, Bar Marconi United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angel Isusko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carmine Di Mascio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. Dennis Berardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Gaufred. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Berardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorino Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Berardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Berardo scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Gaufred, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Niceto Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Dennis Berardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Gaufred was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Di Mascio in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Berardo in the 41st minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Dennis Berardo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Victorino Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bar Marconi United. Carmine Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Carmine Di Mascio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Carmine Di Mascio came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bar Marconi United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Di Mascio couldn't finish the play. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Berardo in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Angel Isusko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bar Marconi United the free kick. Fulvio Gerola kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Dennis Berardo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Bar Marconi United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Berardo couldn't finish the play. When Aldo Del Grosso fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bar Marconi United's protests and gave Aldo Del Grosso a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Del Grosso. 90 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Berardo came free, but Victorino Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulvio Gerola hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Victorino Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Berardo in the 97th minute of the match. Bar Marconi United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Piratas FC's much stronger midfield.
