The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afşin Başkara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afşin Başkara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Valadares in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Valadares came free, but Afşin Başkara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida got a free kick in the 19th minute. MUSHIBA FC's Toninho Matos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Savaş Ersalmış in the 21 minute of the game. MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurinho Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afşin Başkara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Maurinho Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Afşin Başkara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afşin Başkara came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares. But to his dismay, Maurinho Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Afşin Başkara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Valadares's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Tande in the 44th minute of play forced 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s goalkeeper Afşin Başkara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half MUSHIBA FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avni Bal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Claudinho Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Maurinho Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, MUSHIBA FC's Afşin Başkara threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurinho Valadares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Afşin Başkara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maurinho Valadares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Genco Cenker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kutlualp Oyanalp's late challenge caught a MUSHIBA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kutlualp Oyanalp helped the player get up and apologised. Kutlualp Oyanalp hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match.
