Ciudad de Soria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. C.D. Ciudad de Soria were furious when Ilixo Bueno was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 10 played minutes C.D. Ciudad de Soria got a freekick which was hit by Ilixo Bueno. In the 10th minute of the match Gorom Kanø shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Sabina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ubaldo Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firman Salan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Lucas Sabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xilo Cortada in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Enerik Hyka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Sabina. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Ludomil Harbaszewski hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Lucas Sabina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xilo Cortada in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jordi Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordi Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Lluterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xilo Cortada's late challenge caught a C.D. Ciudad de Soria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xilo Cortada helped the player get up and apologised. Jordi Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Lluterio having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Firman Salan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Lucas Sabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Centella in the 54th minute of play. Lucas Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorom Kanø, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Xilo Cortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Sabina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Purple Shadows's Ubaldo Lluterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Purple Shadows from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Troyes Fernandez got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jordi Morales's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ubaldo Lluterio firmly grabbed it by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Centella came free, but Lucas Sabina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Rafettin Üner came free, but Lucas Sabina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, C.D. Ciudad de Soria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Villalcazar to maneuver through the defense. Beto Centella hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Lucas Sabina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorom Kanø in the 86th minute of the match. Ubaldo Lluterio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Firman Salan. But to his dismay, Firman Salan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Enerik Hyka got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Firman Salan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
