Fabien Gury came out of the goal and Nilton Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilton Soeiro took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabien Gury. Fabien Gury dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Fabien Gury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Fabien Gury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Soeiro in the 67th minute of play. The corner ended in Nilton Soeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Perthes United's Fabien Gury did a great save. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Dudu Capixaba got a free kick in the 69th minute. Carlos Augusto Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwendal Ayache, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Maël Négrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perthes United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
