Fabien Gury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cebrián Sans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Marcos Villalcazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Gury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Perthes United defense, Marcos Villalcazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Gury. The Perthes United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Gury should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maël Négrel got free with Lucas Sabina in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Ugutz Albizua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Gury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perthes United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ugutz Albizua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Perthes United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.D. Ciudad de Soria were winning 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwendal Ayache to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Marcos Villalcazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Villalcazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Aintza Cienfuegos in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Perthes United's Salomon Bertholet. Perthes United's attentive Salomon Bertholet managed to snatch the ball when Aintza Cienfuegos made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Perthes United's attentive Pierre-Henri Dumas managed to snatch the ball when Platon Pedraza made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th minute Maël Négrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Sabina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goal looked a bit too open when Firman Salan came free, but Fabien Gury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciudad de Soria's Ugutz Albizua dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When C.D. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.D. Ciudad de Soria walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
