Spectators: 7756 (Terracing: 5819, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manolito Neira started the match with the kick off. Lucho Pérez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Lucjan Walentowicz made a huge save. In the 4thth minute of the game Izydor Opat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colo-Colo's Marino Sadin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Pérez in the 7th minute of play forced Bajbusy Fabian-a's goalkeeper Lucjan Walentowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaouki Ben Rau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marino Sadin having to make a save. Marino Sadin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chaouki Ben Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bajbusy Fabian-a's Izydor Opat in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bajbusy Fabian-a's Chaouki Ben Rau got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Mena hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Bajbusy Fabian-a's Fahmi Danurwindo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oscar Opazo in the 35 minute of the game. Marino Sadin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chaouki Ben Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes Colo-Colo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tolek Walentowicz who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Chaouki Ben Rau heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Opat in the 45th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Marino Sadin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucho Pérez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lucjan Walentowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Izydor Opat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bajbusy Fabian-a booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Riffo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colo-Colo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Chaouki Ben Rau scored to the left of an out of position Marino Sadin, making the score, 0-1. In the 62nd minute of the match, Tolek Walentowicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marino Sadin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marino Sadin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaouki Ben Rau in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Bajbusy Fabian-a's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Ardizzoni came free, but Lucjan Walentowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marino Sadin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaouki Ben Rau's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. José Maria Baquero charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Izydor Opat fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
