Bajbusy Fabian-a's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paavo Burgdorf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th minute Ben Labigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Walentowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Walentowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Bensch in the 12th minute of the match. When Hannover Reds's Arvid Kuntz in 14 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Lucjan Walentowicz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The crowd rose to their feet as Bajbusy Fabian-a's Izydor Opat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Till Geppert. That made the score 1-2 after 18 minutes of play. Chaouki Ben Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chaouki Ben Rau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Till Geppert made a huge save. If Chaouki Ben Rau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chaouki Ben Rau got free with Till Geppert in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chaouki Ben Rau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Bajbusy Fabian-a's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Labigne came free, but Lucjan Walentowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Opat got free with Till Geppert in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bajbusy Fabian-a's Lucjan Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Labigne in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Bajbusy Fabian-a's Izydor Opat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Till Geppert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Till Geppert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaouki Ben Rau in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Izydor Opat was the one to do the kick off. Lucjan Walentowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Bensch, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Lucjan Walentowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Bensch in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute, Iaki Albizua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Walentowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Bajbusy Fabian-a's Chaouki Ben Rau got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Chaouki Ben Rau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Till Geppert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 77th match minute, Bajbusy Fabian-a was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahmi Danurwindo to maneuver through the defense. When Janusz Chlapowski fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajbusy Fabian-a's protests and gave Janusz Chlapowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Janusz Chlapowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chaouki Ben Rau scored 4-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Till Geppert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Napoleon Zacharczyk during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermann Zach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucjan Walentowicz. Bajbusy Fabian-a's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bajbusy Fabian-a were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
