Lucho Pérez in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gigel Petrean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 9 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Lucho Pérez came free, but Gigel Petrean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Muget's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Koča Mendoza was slow to take the kick. During this time Colo-Colo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Colo-Colo's Bermejo Pretot getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Bermejo Pretot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muget's Gigel Petrean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horea Cenușă kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alexis Ardizzoni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. When Costin Piț came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Muget fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Piț couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes, Horea Cenușă made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colo-Colo's Marino Sadin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Muget were awarded a corner. Emil Cenușă went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Muget's corner Emil Cenușă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marino Sadin quite easily take care of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Muget's Costin Piț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marino Sadin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Emil Cenușă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colo-Colo's Marino Sadin did a great save. Costin Piț took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marino Sadin. Marino Sadin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Horea Cenușă made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Luis Mena in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Muget's Irinel Oros. The audience was convinced that Costin Piț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marino Sadin was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The supporters of Colo-Colo booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Cenușă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Petrean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Ardizzoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Ardizzoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolito Neira in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Petrean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marino Sadin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Piț in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Alexis Ardizzoni got a free kick in the 81st minute. Colo-Colo made a substitution. Ernesto Campusano replaced Luis Mena. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alexis Ardizzoni hit a great ball. Alexis Ardizzoni charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexis Ardizzoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alexis Ardizzoni hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Muget's Olimpiu Cenușă seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olimpiu Cenușă the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Muget protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olimpiu Cenușă had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 89 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Cenușă. 90 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's Alexis Ardizzoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigel Petrean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Colo-Colo booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Cenușă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Manolito Neira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Petrean. Muget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolito Neira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Ardizzoni came free, but Gigel Petrean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Muget players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
