When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Apolo Sayvion sped through Sydney FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florian Guderian. 34 minutes into the match, Apolo Sayvion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Guderian. Sydney FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Sayvion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Florian Guderian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Kusko in the 41st minute of the match. When Ricardo Asur came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Error 404 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Asur couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Ricardo Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Michel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakov Stähr was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Asur came free, but Florian Guderian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Guderian came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Error 404's Eliseo Quinton. But to his dismay, Eliseo Quinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Kusko in the 95th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Florian Guderian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Error 404 had played much better football throughout.
