AB Tårnby's Terkild Lukasen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Le in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qi Chen Yuan in the 16th minute of play forced AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Terkild Lukasen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Teis Okking came free, but Zhu Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Ove Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Stig-Ove Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teis Okking in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhu Xi saved Los Galacticos from getting behind. Terkild Lukasen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Linhares in the 58th minute. Ruben Le could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Terkild Lukasen made a huge save. Zhang Hong Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AB Tårnby's zone, Ruben Le stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terkild Lukasen came out of the goal and Ruben Le tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Le got free with Terkild Lukasen in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
