Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Ladislao Daunte started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gabriel Gervaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8 minutes, Gabriel Gervaso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despidida AFC and the PATADAS S.A players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Asteri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Daunte. Sergio Vargas lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 12 played minutes PATADAS S.A got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Vargas. Ladislao Daunte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Baldomero Asteri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ladislao Daunte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Arnaldo Ekain might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Asteri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Ekain ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomero Asteri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Ekain in the 25th minute. Arnaldo Ekain charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Ekain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, PATADAS S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Ekain to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, PATADAS S.A's Arnaldo Ekain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Asteri. Baldomero Asteri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ladislao Daunte's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Daunte helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Despidida AFC's zone, Arnaldo Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Asteri came out of the goal and Arnaldo Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Hodei to strike the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Daunte took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Asteri. Baldomero Asteri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Arnaldo Ekain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Asteri. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Asteri should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in PATADAS S.A's zone, Albino Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Ofelio came out of the goal and Albino Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Baldomero Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. PATADAS S.A's Marcelino Bixintxo was substituted for Amado Urre. After 86 played minutes PATADAS S.A got a freekick which was hit by Roque Segio. Nestor Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Argider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Despidida AFC's Nestor Ofelio threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filomeno Hodei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcelino Bixintxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. PATADAS S.A's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
