With an all-out effort, KяαdivÄch3 FC's Terkild Lukasen threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niceto Poz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teofilo Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Valsgard in the 30th minute of play. Sergio Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Sebastian Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Pinto having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Teis Okking hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Teis Okking came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the AB Tårnby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teis Okking couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Crouch was the one to do the kick off. Teis Okking sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teis Okking struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Teofilo Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AB Tårnby. KяαdivÄch3 FC's Teofilo Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save KяαdivÄch3 FC from getting a goal against them. Carlinhos Albuquerque was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, one of AB Tårnby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AB Tårnby. Terkild Lukasen had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Niceto Poz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 77th minute of the match KяαdivÄch3 FC got a corner. AB Tårnby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niceto Poz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Niceto Poz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Terkild Lukasen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 80 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Erik Valsgard. In the 81st minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terkild Lukasen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute Jaime Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terkild Lukasen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AB Tårnby succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though KяαdivÄch3 FC had controlled the match.
