Siebe Luijten started the match with the kick off. A collision led to All Stars Gent getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jan Melkval hit a great ball. Lucas Dembélé took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yvan Poets. All Stars Gent's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of All Stars Gent booed when Los Hermanos CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genílson Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siebe Luijten in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Maria Van Meenen came free, but Genílson Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Los Hermanos CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Elizardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Lucas Dembélé shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yvan Poets showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Silvinho Britto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yvan Poets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Genílson Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Van Meenen. Silvinho Britto scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yvan Poets, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Van Meenen got free with Genílson Massa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genílson Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siebe Luijten in the 30th minute of the match. Genílson Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siebe Luijten in the 32nd minute of play. All Stars Gent's Yvan Poets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Britto in the 37th minute of play. Renan Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Poets having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Jesucristo Van Meenen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Silvinho Britto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yvan Poets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Van Meenen got free with Genílson Massa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvinho Britto to make the kick off. Jesus Van Meenen hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. All Stars Gent's Yvan Poets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save All Stars Gent from getting a goal against them. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Lucas Dembélé got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yvan Poets. Silvinho Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvan Poets having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Yvan Poets successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 83 minutes into the match, Rafael Maria Van Meenen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Massa. Los Hermanos CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Maria Van Meenen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After having played for 89 minutes, Silvinho Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hermanos CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvinho Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Van Meenen in the 94th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Genílson Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Van Meenen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Hermanos CIMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
