When Horacio Nisio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Club Sportivo Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Nisio couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Remigio Salomone dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Genaro Abaunza, 4-0.

In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Putin Club - OFF's goalkeeper Severo Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Tadzio's late challenge caught a Putin Club - OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Tadzio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Putin Club - OFF booed when Club Sportivo Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Genaro Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Indar in the 73rd minute of play.
