Michael Stekelenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Palla Banan lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The audience was convinced that Geert Arend van Zijl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Stålberg was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Ninjas FK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Ekeberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alfred Blaauwgeers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Blaauwgeers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Stålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oskar Stålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Degenkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martien Degenkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Oskar Stålberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Degenkamp in the 32nd minute of play forced Ninjas FK's goalkeeper Oskar Stålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Stålberg came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Geert Arend van Zijl. But to his dismay, Geert Arend van Zijl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Oskar Stålberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Martien Degenkamp sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Grep was the one to do the kick off. Ninjas FK's Oskar Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Blaauwgeers in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Martien Degenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Blaauwgeers in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Degenkamp in the 65th minute of play forced Ninjas FK's goalkeeper Oskar Stålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Alfred Blaauwgeers made a precise shot to the right of Oskar Stålberg. Ninjas FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some careless play in the FC Bal op het Dak defense, Torbjörn Grep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carsten Maurits. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carsten Maurits should have stopped the shot. Ninjas FK's Torbjörn Grep got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Martien Degenkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oskar Stålberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Oskar Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Degenkamp in the 92nd minute of the match.
