Jonathan da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Amânaloae in the 8th minute of the match. Jonathan da Fonseca stood somewhat misplaced when Mădălin Răduț came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonathan da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting a goal against them. Jonathan da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mădălin Răduț sent off a good shot on target. Mădălin Răduț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jonathan da Fonseca made a huge save. Simamane LuaLua scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurențiu Popescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ciprian Avacariței hit a great ball. Laurențiu Popescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Brasil in the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Răduț to maneuver through the defense. Felix Dobrea hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Laurențiu Popescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simamane LuaLua's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Simamane LuaLua came free, but Laurențiu Popescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Luís Paulo Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Júlio Brasil made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Susara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Răduț came free, but Jonathan da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Amânaloae kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jonathan da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amânaloae in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Răduț in the 80th minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Jonathan da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sebastian Ciolofan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Ciolofan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonathan da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Susara in the 87th minute of play. Alexandria Team08 were furious when Radu Pătru was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alexandria Team08 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Clemente Prestes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Laurențiu Popescu. In the 98th minute Valentin Susara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Alexandria Team08's much stronger midfield.
