In the 27th minute, Leopoldo Benavidez made a precise shot to the right of Nicu Mincu. FC Luck's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Orlondo Mathey was slow to take the kick. During this time Carqueja's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Dantel Villatoro drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind FC Luck's goalkeeper. Narcis Ţipirig succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 47th playminute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Carqueja booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Huștiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Benavidez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Mincu having to interfere. Nicu Mincu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Benavidez in the 78th minute. After 81 minutes of play, FC Luck's Eduard Mutu made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
