Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chale Combarros took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fagildo Cases didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kimetz Charro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mel Palanques showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Oliverios Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chale Combarros in the 7th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goal looked a bit too open when Lorencio Ruelas came free, but Oliverios Coya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carqueja's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Orlondo Mathey in the 15th minute. Orlondo Mathey made a great header on Carqueja's corner, it was just that UE Cornella's Oliverios Coya managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th match minute, UE Cornella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristián Labarra to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Benavidez came free, but Oliverios Coya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dantel Villatoro took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliverios Coya. Oliverios Coya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Oliverios Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chale Combarros in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, UE Cornella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Tobias to maneuver through the defense. UE Cornella's Oliverios Coya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chale Combarros in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UE Cornella's Indartsu Turienzo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Oliverios Coya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Benavidez in the 30th minute of the match. Oliverios Coya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chale Combarros went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Leopoldo Benavidez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UE Cornella's Oliverios Coya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Benavidez in the 35th minute of play. Oliverios Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chale Combarros in the 36th minute of play. Oliverios Coya came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Carqueja's Chale Combarros. But to his dismay, Chale Combarros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Carqueja's Fiz Loño got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mel Palanques fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UE Cornella's protests and gave Mel Palanques a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carqueja booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Palanques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mel Palanques to make the kick off. After 59 minutes UE Cornella's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orlondo Mathey who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Benavidez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Manolo Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Orlondo Mathey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carqueja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlondo Mathey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Oliverios Coya throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dantel Villatoro in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Oliverios Coya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chale Combarros in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Leopoldo Benavidez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliverios Coya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Chale Combarros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dantel Villatoro came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Carqueja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dantel Villatoro couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes UE Cornella got a freekick which was hit by Leon Tobias. When the match was over Carqueja could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UE Cornella throughout the match.
