Ulises Ramone started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Ramone in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Vilaverde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Caeiro let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 11th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The VB-Team fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute, Jaime Corte-Real made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Sazon. ORIZABA F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 21st minute Albano Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Vilaverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Ramone in the 23rd minute of the match. If Ulises Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Corte-Real sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Jaime Corte-Real came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Corte-Real couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Txema in the 33rd minute of play. If Traian Hăvârneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Sazon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Caeiro in the 36th minute. Gervasio Sazon was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Luís Caeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Caeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 41st minute Traian Hăvârneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Traian Hăvârneanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Jacek Zjawin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Albano Rodriguez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Osvaldo Vilaverde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Txema in the 64th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 66th minute of play. Luís Caeiro struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gervasio Sazon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Luís Caeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Sazon came out of the goal and Luís Caeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Corte-Real in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Jaime Corte-Real stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Sazon came out of the goal and Jaime Corte-Real tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Sazon was left in no man's land by his defense there!
