In the 18th minute, one of FF Små Gröna Män:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FF Små Gröna Män. Mauricio Argider shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Natalio Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Areco FC booed when FF Små Gröna Män was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ingemarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Igor Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek got control of the ball when Dick Hagberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, FF Små Gröna Män's Ian Ahlbom made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Bernátek was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Bergqvist in the 63rd minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Eduard Bernátek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Igor Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Igor Cristofor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Åke Nordlander. Igor Cristofor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 74 played minutes FF Små Gröna Män got a freekick which was hit by Dick Hagberg. When Igor Cristofor came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Areco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Cristofor couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Cresencio. In the 82nd minute Dick Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Bernátek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Areco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Holm was slow to take the kick. During this time FF Små Gröna Män's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, FF Små Gröna Män's Ian Ahlbom got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hagberg in the 88th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Eduard Bernátek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
