The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th match minute, Areco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benja Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Ertan Dural got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hurşit Tamerk struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Eduard Bernátek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOO Tigers. In the 28thth minute of the game Ertan Dural who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KOO Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertan Dural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ertan Dural made a kick off. Igor Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Müjdat Egelioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Cristofor charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Cristofor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Cristofor. 60 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Bernaldo came free, but Müjdat Egelioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the KOO Tigers defense, Sixto Bernaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Müjdat Egelioğlu. The KOO Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Müjdat Egelioğlu should have stopped the shot. KOO Tigers's Gazi Yazargil was substituted for Alemdar Atasan. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Antônio Rodrigues got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute Benja Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Egelioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hugo Gines fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Areco FC's protests and gave Hugo Gines a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's Ertan Dural sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Bernátek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Dural in the 86th minute of play. Hurşit Tamerk struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eduard Bernátek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KOO Tigers. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Areco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while KOO Tigers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
