Sixto Bernaldo started the match with the kick off. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Bernaldo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Igor Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Sixto Bernaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jacinto Neto hit a great ball. Wang Ning Qing kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Leonel Sanches notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek. Eduard Bernátek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cristofor in the 28th minute of play. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Futbol Club RRFV getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. César Brito hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Carlos Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Bernátek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alberto de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Tomé Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduard Bernátek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomé Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduard Bernátek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Martins in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Futbol Club RRFV got a corner. Areco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomé Martins ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leonel Sanches made a great header on Futbol Club RRFV's corner, it was just that Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek managed to reach the ball for a save. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benja Dominguez in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Benja Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wang Ning Qing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Wang Ning Qing hit a great ball. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Tomi in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Tomé Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club RRFV and the Areco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Martins to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Alberto de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Alberto de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when Areco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benja Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Futbol Club RRFV from getting a goal against them. Areco FC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Futbol Club RRFV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauricio Argider took the corner. After taking down the ball on Areco FC's corner Mauricio Argider fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diamantino Senna quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wang Ning Qing. After 89 played minutes Futbol Club RRFV got a freekick which was hit by César Brito. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Natalio Nuñez hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Areco FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
