The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ørjan Moen came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Flogo FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ørjan Moen couldn't finish the play. Jan-Aage Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Petrocchi in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Moldskred in the 7th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Dino Losito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Kaspersen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th match minute, Flogo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Kaspersen to maneuver through the defense. Flogo FF's Jan-Aage Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Rozzi in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flogo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudio Lenci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Losito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ørjan Moen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Haugsdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Losito having to interfere. Dino Losito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ørjan Moen in the 24th minute of the match. Claudio Lenci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Jan-Aage Eklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jan-Aage Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Lenci in the 36th minute. Jan-Aage Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Lenci in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flogo FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniele Rugani was slow to take the kick. During this time Old BaoBaB Accademy's players had a chance to rest. If Andreas Haugsdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flogo FF's Andreas Haugsdal in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Haugsdal was the one to do the kick off. Andreas Haugsdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Losito having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Haugsdal got free with Dino Losito in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Dino Losito got control of the ball when Andreas Haugsdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Lenci in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Aage Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Aage Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Lenci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Haugvaldstad was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flogo FF! In the 85th minute, Daniele Rugani made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Aage Eklund. Flogo FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Flogo FF's Magne Berre got a free kick in the 88th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Flogo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Lenci came free, but Jan-Aage Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Flogo FF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Old BaoBaB Accademy from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
