Riemannian's Severino Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobus Spoel in the 19th minute of play. With 21 minutes on the clock, Elias March commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Riemannian! The referee gave Buitenhout FC a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. After 36 minutes of play, Buitenhout FC's Koos Alberts made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute of the match Buitenhout FC got a corner. Riemannian's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Buitenhout FC's corner Ted Fokkelman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Severino Fernandez quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koos Alberts to make the kick off. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Riemannian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Munoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Fokkelman got free with Severino Fernandez in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Ramzinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Severino Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwo Wietrzychowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
