Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Derwin kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Domingo Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Bos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Orti in the 8th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilberto Garaile fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlin FC's protests and gave Gilberto Garaile a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Garaile hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino got control of the ball when Barry Masker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barry Masker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Quilino made a huge save. Raymond Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Henry in the 21st minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Marlin FC's Nereo Henry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raymond Bos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Henry came free, but Raymond Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Barry Masker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Quilino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 31 minutes, Tonny Sneijder made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Geronimo Isadore got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Ignacio Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Bos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barry Masker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Quilino having to interfere. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ignacio Derwin hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Koos Teunissen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ambrosio Quilino skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry Masker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Domingo Jon got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute Edward Verbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Masker came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Bos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels-Jan Carels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Bos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Masker came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Raymond Bos made a huge save. Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Masker in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Lemel SV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Domingo Jon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Derwin in the 84th minute of play. When Lemel SV's Edward Verbeek in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marlin FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Lemel SV's Niels-Jan Carels seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Niels-Jan Carels the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lemel SV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niels-Jan Carels had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lemel SV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Lemel SV:s Raymond Bos showed great skill when he stopped Guaberto Quico:s penalty.
