Marcos Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Marcos Nogueira came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Daniel Brasil. But to his dismay, Daniel Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Capibaribe Stars's Marcos Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Garcia in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dowdall in the 20th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Marcos Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Nogueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maurinho Vargas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Capibaribe Stars's Marcos Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Garcia in the 33rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdir Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Nogueira came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Billy Dowdall. But to his dismay, Billy Dowdall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Marcos Nogueira came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia. But to his dismay, Valdir Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Capibaribe Stars defense, Luiz Guilherme Varela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Nogueira. The Capibaribe Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Nogueira should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Garcia in the 65th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Marcos Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Vargas in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Bandelocos's Billy Dowdall made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimundo Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. Marcos Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Brasil in the 78th minute of the match. Marcos Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brasil in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Brasil in the 83rd minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Marcos Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Maurinho Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Marcos Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Garcia came free, but Marcos Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capibaribe Stars's Marcos Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dowdall in the 89th minute of play. Marcos Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Dowdall, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Marcos Nogueira came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia. But to his dismay, Valdir Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Bandelocos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
