Sonny Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Chavarri in the 10th minute of the match. Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Cheng Ping in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaffery Stanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvar Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Mazurkiewicz having to interfere. With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson got control of the ball when Narciso Chavarri tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Zhang Cheng Ping fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's protests and gave Zhang Cheng Ping a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Deportivo Peñarol FIFV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhang Cheng Ping didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Calderón came free, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match Filip Kaxe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orvar Stenquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhang Cheng Ping couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Ezequiel Calderón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhang Cheng Ping scored 1-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Åkesson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 minutes of play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Luo Cheng made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Åkesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sonny Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luo Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's Arne Bryngelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Mazurkiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Emil Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhang Cheng Ping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wallgren came free, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Narciso Chavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Narciso Chavarri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hermanö Oilers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Peñarol FIFV.
